Privacy Policy

Stillmarch is a game made by an independent developer. It is designed to work offline and to need as little information about you as possible. There is no sign-up form, no advertising, no advertising or third-party analytics SDK, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
What the app collects

These are linked to your anonymous ID within the game. None of them are used to track you across other apps or websites, and none are sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
What the app does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
- No advertising identifier (IDFA or Android advertising ID), and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- No third-party analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
- No chat content. Conversation in the game is generated on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Your game data
Your characters, progress and settings live on your device, and a copy is backed up to our server against your anonymous ID so a reinstall does not lose them. There is no account to create and no login to play.
The optional ladder
If you use the ladder, a snapshot of your character — its name, level, class, race, equipment and statistics — is published so other players can see and challenge it. It contains no personal information about you. Other characters shown walking the world are computer-controlled, not real people.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you installed the game. We never see or receive your payment details. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt so the app can confirm what you own and restore it on a new device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game schedules them locally on your device to tell you when your hero’s watch is ending. They are not sent from a server.
Children
Stillmarch is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights and deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. To delete your server-side data — your anonymous account, cloud saves, ladder entry and progress milestones — email the address below and it will be deleted. Records relating to abuse reports may be retained where needed to keep other players safe.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
